Escanaba Michigan is seeking proposals for All Requirements Electricity Requirements starting as early as July 1, 2010.  Escanaba has a 15 MW combustion turbine peaking resource that is also may be included in a proposal, allowing for capacity credits.  Long term proposals are desired, with a minimum term of 5 years.  Michigan has a  renewable energy standard that passed this year which requires that 10 percent of energy come from renewable resources by 2015.  Proposals must include a description on how this standard is expected to be met.   

Proposals are due by 5 pm Eastern time December 8, 2008.
